Athena NextGen

Calling all emerging women leaders! Are you looking to enhance your professional development skills and explore your leadership path? ATHENA NextGen may be just the program for you.

Local ATHENA programs are dedicated to teaching mentees the leadership traits they need today in order to become the future leaders for the next generation. Not only does ATHENA NextGen provide a roadmap for developing emerging leaders, it also gives participants a 360 degree look at what other communities are doing to shape innovative mentoring programs.

ATHENA NextGen is designed as a collaborative forum where participants enhance their professional development skills through a series of eight sessions, one morning each month. Participants take a "deeper dive" and learn about ATHENA's Eight Principles of Enlightened Leadership. Sessions are facilitated by a diverse group of prominent women business leaders in central Florida who volunteer their time by sharing their own stories and leadership lessons. Plus, we offer a great location at the UCF Executive Development Center Downtown with convenient parking nearby.

How can you apply?

Open enrollment for the 2016 class of ATHENA NextGen opens in February. Sessions run from May - December 2016. For more information, please send an email to Apply or contact Karen Keene at (407)-718-1562.

You're also invited to talk to the amazing women in this year's inaugural class. Look for them near the ATHENA NextGen booth at the end of today's luncheon.
